Converting your visitors is number 1 right?
Sure it is. Let's get real for a second... you can send all the traffic you want to a webpage, you can send your customer database a direct mail piece, or you can even joint venture and flood an offer with viewers...
But if you can't convert them then who gives a flying #$@%!
Let's take a look at your copy and a great tip you can use to make sure it's tight and ready to convert. I got this tip first from a marketer names Mike Dillard and the more colorful version from Frank Kern.
After each sentence or section of your copy, ask... Who Gives A Flying (bad word)?
Why This Helps...
It helps put you into your customers shoes. For example... if you are saying...
"We've been in business for 20 years." I then ask who gives a flying (bad word)? The answer is NOBODY!
You can immediately follow that question up with the logical...
What's In It For Me?
Only benefit statements and proof states would anybody really care about right?
I'm sure you agree that's the case. So go take a look at your copy on whatever marketing material you have and start asking that question. It will immediately strengthen your copy.
